– a Vignette

I enjoy order, planning, the one right way, a standard of perfection within myself without projection on anyone else, study, learning and introspection. It’s been said, I am very low maintenance which is a striving. Contention my nemesis thus talking overrated. My mantra; Don’t explain and never complain. I thrive in quiet, solitude, observing from afar. Truth be known, I relish classic beauty, vintage charm, Victorian genre and chic THREADS sew gray.

Cut from the same cloth C.mingly, ’twas avowed my progenitors were “of unobtrusive disposition not given to display or talk” and “a most orderly person ever known” and then, “…there was always a right way to do things and a wrong way; a neat and orderly way, or a careless way; but with [him], there was only ONE way that was acceptable”. Touted as “British to the core”. Oh, those DNA threads sew GRAY.

Presently, the joy in my journey is found in Motherhood, Grandparenting, strengthening my relationship with my Saviour Jesus Christ, reading, golfing, biking, traveling [one can only hope], Genealogy/Family History, puzzling, wordsmithery, oh yes, and QUILTING… threads SEW gray.
